Illinois is corn and soybeans across the whole state. The central prairie around Bloomington, Champaign, Decatur and Peoria is strip-till and precision planting country, northern Illinois around Rockford and DeKalb is corn and soybeans on some of the best dirt anywhere, and southern Illinois around Mt.
